Exposition

Some installation pictures of my work at GUM.

“With this installation, artist Gideon Kiefer reflects on the deceptive feeling of trust we have in our memories, based on a personal experience. Using a drawing as a starting point, he had a vase from his grandmother's house, as he remembers it, replicated by glassblower Jeroen Heerwegh. This vase is green. He presents it here in dialogue with the real white vase. In this way, he physically falsifies his own memory, thereby nullifying the falsified memory.”

Klara Pompidou's Nicky Aerts’ interview about my exhibition at Museum Gevaert-Minne.
